Accessibility Statement
WarmPath Digital is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our conformance target, current status, and how to report accessibility barriers.
WarmPath Digital LLC is committed to providing an accessible experience for all visitors to our website and all clients who use our services. We believe that everyone should be able to access information about heated surface systems and request our services without unnecessary barriers.
This Accessibility Statement describes the measures we take to ensure accessibility, the standards we aim to meet, and how to contact us if you experience a barrier.
01 Our Commitment
We are committed to digital accessibility because it is both the right thing to do and consistent with our values of honest work and service to our community. Many of our clients are older adults and people with mobility needs, and we want our website to work just as well for them as it does for anyone else.
Our commitment includes:
- Designing and building our website to meet recognized accessibility standards
- Testing accessibility features regularly as we update the site
- Responding promptly to accessibility feedback from any visitor
- Providing alternative ways to access our services when our website presents barriers
02 Conformance Status
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is the recognized international standard for digital accessibility and forms the basis for most accessibility regulations in the United States.
Current Status
Our website substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have reviewed each page against the standard and have implemented the technical measures required.
We continue to test and refine the site. Some pages may have minor issues that we are actively working to resolve, and these are listed in Section 6.
Our Target
Full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all pages. Where possible, we also implement Level AAA practices for color contrast, keyboard navigation, and form usability.
If you encounter a page or feature that does not meet our target, please let us know and we will address it as a priority.
03 Accessibility Features
Our website includes the following accessibility features to support visitors with a range of needs:
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements, including navigation, forms, and modal dialogs, are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone.
Color Contrast
Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
Semantic Structure
Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and list structures to support screen reader navigation.
Form Labels
All form fields have associated labels, required field indicators, and clear error messages.
Text Resizing
Text can be resized up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality using browser zoom.
Focus Indicators
Visible focus outlines appear on interactive elements when navigating with a keyboard, so you always know where you are.
Skip Links
A "Skip to content" link at the top of each page lets keyboard users bypass navigation and reach the main content quickly.
Reduced Motion
Our scroll animations respect your operating system's "reduce motion" setting if you have enabled it.
ARIA Landmarks
Interactive components such as accordion panels, tabs, and modals use appropriate ARIA roles and states for screen reader support.
04 Standards & Guidelines
Our website is designed and tested against the following standards and guidelines.
| Standard | Level | Status |
|---|---|---|
| WCAG 2.1 | Level AA | Substantially conformant |
| WCAG 2.1 | Level AAA (selected criteria) | Implemented where feasible |
| Section 508 | Refresh (2018) | Aligned |
| ADA Title III | Effective communication and equal access | Aligned |
| EN 301 549 | Applicable clauses | Aligned |
Self-evaluation. We conduct internal accessibility reviews using automated testing tools, manual keyboard-only navigation, and screen reader testing. Findings are prioritized by impact and addressed in scheduled updates.
05 Assistive Technology
Our website is designed to work with the following assistive technologies. This list is not exhaustive, but it reflects the configurations we test against.
- Screen readers. NVDA on Windows, JAWS on Windows, and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
- Screen magnification. Browser zoom up to 200 percent and operating system magnifiers.
- Voice control. Dragon NaturallySpeaking and built-in OS voice control.
- Keyboard-only navigation. Full operability without a mouse or trackpad.
- Reduced motion. Animation and transition preferences respected through operating system settings.
If you use an assistive technology that is not listed here and experience a barrier, please let us know so we can investigate and improve.
06 Known Limitations
We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are actively working to address them:
- Embedded map on the Contact page. The interactive map provided by OpenStreetMap may not be fully accessible to all screen readers. A text address and direct phone number are provided directly below the map as a full alternative.
- Third-party form processing. Some spam-prevention measures may create a delay between submission and confirmation. If you experience an issue, you can always call us at (612) 461-7966 instead.
- PDF documents. Any downloadable PDF documents we provide may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need a specific document in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide it.
We review this list each quarter and update it as issues are resolved and as new ones are identified.
07 Physical Accessibility
Accessibility also extends to our physical services. We work with clients who have a range of mobility and accessibility needs, and we are committed to making our installations and service visits work for everyone.
- At-home service. All estimates and inspections are conducted at your property, so you do not need to visit our office to receive a quote.
- Consultation options. If visiting our office presents a barrier, we can conduct consultations by phone, video, or email.
- Accessible installations. Heated walkways and step systems are among our most requested installations for households with mobility-limited residents, and we design these systems with safety and accessibility as the primary goal.
- Service communication. If you have a communication preference or accessibility need during service visits, let us know and we will accommodate it.
08 Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is not a one-time project. Our ongoing efforts include:
- Quarterly automated accessibility scans using industry standard tools
- Annual manual review of key user journeys, including quote and booking flows
- Screen reader testing of new features before release
- Ongoing training for our web team on accessibility best practices
- Reviewing and responding to every accessibility report we receive
Our goal is continuous improvement, not a single conformance milestone.
09 Third-Party Content
Our website includes content and functionality from third parties, including the embedded map on our Contact page, analytics services, and form processing tools. While we choose providers that make accessibility a priority, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content we do not control.
If a third-party feature on our site creates an accessibility barrier, please report it to us. We will work with the provider to address it and, where possible, provide an accessible alternative.
